Vintage Tiaras

Vintage Tiaras

When I ask habitancy what's the first thing that comes to their heads when they hear the Word "tiara", a range of answers comes up. Some habitancy associate this word to "The Royal Family"; some think I'm request about the crown that declares the winner of a attractiveness pageant. On the other hand, when women hear the word "tiara", they immediately think about "wedding". In fact, tiaras tend to be linked with a extra occasion, meaning that habitancy on an daily basis wouldn't wear one. But this conception starts to bring out a estimate of problems when we introduce the idea of vintage tiaras. Actually, lots of habitancy buy and sell vintage tiaras every day. This suggests, at least, that there's a estimate of women who wear these tiaras, and not necessarily to their wedding day.

Even if it's true that the main scenario that involves a woman wearing a tiara is her marriage, it's not true that this is the only case that allows the use of one. In fact, you see girls and women wearing headbands daily on the streets. The only difference is that a tiara is what we may call a "dressy headband". Indeed, tiaras have a extra catch of elegance that not every headband has.

This is especially true when we're talking about vintage tiaras. The tiaras that quarterly shops sell nowadays are elegant enough, but they don't look as fancy as vintage tiaras do. Why? I don't know the exact reason. But my hypothesis is that everything that your grandmother owns or used to wear looks good that the cheap stuff you get at the mall.

It doesn't want a deep demonstration to be aware that, in fact, merchandise today isn't as essential as it used to be. You may call it curious society, shopaholic people, or you can even blame it on Fordism cheaper model. Truth be told, changing the name won't vary the essence of the problem: habitancy buy just because they like spending. This, of course, doesn't apply to everyone. But you could safely say that most habitancy buy a pair of jeans to wear them once or twice and then bury them in their closet. What's the qoute with wearing the same clothes for more than a month? As long as they're clean and tidy, I don't see the qoute some habitancy make out of it.

I think it's time to convert this kind of thinking. Or at least, my time as a compulsive buyer is over. Why should you spend your money on a pair of boots that won't last you longer than a year? The shop you got them from won't even remember those boots if come complaining a month later. The store moves so fast, that they're probably sold out before you know it. The attractiveness about buying vintage items is that you know for sure that your money was worth the spent. I'm not saying that vintage tiaras are cheap -of policy they're not. But what I mean is that I rather spend my money on something that will last longer than three weeks.

What you're getting when you buy a vintage tiara is not just a essential and fancy headband. You're also getting a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry. It's not a diadem that you can only wear once and then the pieces fall apart. You can wear a vintage tiara as many times as you'd like without worrying about the diamonds or pearls ending up on the streets.

Of course, this depends on the ability of the things you buy. But, in general, vintage tiaras are sold with the extra certify that it won't be destroyed soon by a soft wind. The most extra element that brings a vintage tiara is that it is, in fact, a high-quality creation that isn't based only on machines producing one hundred of them at the same time. As a matter of fact, vintage tiaras want a ton of handcrafting by real habitancy who spend their time and work making a genuine tiara out of customary vintage elements.

Truth be told, you probably won't wear a vintage tiara to go to work on a Monday morning. But it's also true that not only princesses and attractiveness queens have a reserved right to wear tiaras. As a matter of fact, anything can wear a vintage tiara nowadays without seeing odd, because vintage will all the time be in fashion.
